8:30 Traditional Service
9:30 Sunday School
10:30 Contemporary Service

Here’s what to expect:
The 8:30 worship service is a small gathering that uses traditional hymns. Pastor Jon wears traditional vestments to lead worship. About 20-30 people usually attend this service. In the summer months this service moves outside to our Outdoor Chapel. We still sing traditional hymns but we use a spoken order of worship.

At 9:30 Sunday School classes meet for all ages. We do not have Sunday School during the summer months.

At the 10:30 service we use a spoken order of worship and sing contemporary music led by our worship band. About 100 people attend this service. We have a staffed nursery so parents can have a spiritual breather if they’d like.

About Holy Communion
We celebrate Holy Communion every other week. Everyone who is baptized is welcome to receive. You don’t have to be a Lutheran or a member of St. John’s. If you don’t wish to receive, that’s okay. You don’t have to. You’re welcome to stay at your seat and not come forward to the altar. Please contact us if you have any questions.
